A native of Detroit, Michigan, Carol Ann Rich has been in active practice in the Virgin Islands since 1986.  
    
Following a clerkship with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Attorney Rich relocated to Miami, Florida, where she concentrated on commercial and environmental law at Peeples Earl & Blank, a firm with offices in Miami and Sarasota. In 1985 Attorney Rich moved to the Virgin Islands. She was a partner in the Law Firm of Campbell, Arellano & Rich for more than 18 years, specializing in complex commercial litigation, appellate work and bankruptcy. In 2004 Attorney Rich became of counsel to Dudley Clark & Chan, LLP, continuing with her focus on complex commercial litigation. Effective January 1, 2012, Attorney Rich joined forces with Adriane J. Dudley and Sharmane Davis Brathwaite to form the firm Dudley Rich Davis LLP.

Over her 30-year career, Attorney Rich has appeared before every Virgin Islands court, as well as in Federal Bankruptcy courts in the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Delaware and Pittsburgh, and the  United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. 

Areas of Practice

Attorney Rich continues to specialize in commercial and real estate litigation, creditor rights in bankruptcy, commercial and residential real estate and bank transactions matters, real estate foreclosure and commercial loan enforcement. Current clients include banking institutions, businesses in the private and public sectors engaged in real estate development, retail, industrial and other matters, government or quasi-governmental entities, condominium and timeshare association boards, and individuals.
